Origin & Creation

Daemons are supernatural beings created by the entity believed to be against the monotheistic god, powerful entities embodying chaos and rebellion. They were brought into existence by human belief, specifically by those who feared or revered the idea of devils and the underworld. Despite their dark associations, Daemons are not inherently evil; instead, they are chaotic by nature, driven by an insatiable desire to experience and revel in the world. This chaotic energy reflects the defiant spirit of their creators, making Daemons unpredictable but not malicious.

Daemons exist in constant danger, as angels—created to enforce monotheistic ideals of purity—see them as abominations to be eradicated.

In the modern world, Daemons live on the fringes, hiding in plain sight while savoring every moment they can. They frequent human cities, reveling in nightlife, art, and culture, and sometimes even forming close bonds with humans who share their love of adventure.

Characteristics

  • Appearance:

    • Daemons possess a striking and otherworldly beauty, often featuring features like horns, sharp teeth, or glowing eyes that hint at their infernal origins.

    • Their skin tones vary, ranging from deep reds and ashen grays to more human-like shades, sometimes with faint patterns or markings.

    • Many Daemons have tails, claws, or wings, though these traits vary widely between individuals.

  • Aura of Chaos:

    • A subtle but palpable energy surrounds them, making those nearby feel a mix of curiosity, unease, or exhilaration.

Relations with Others Beings

  • Humans:

    • Daemons enjoy human company and often seek out mortals to share in their adventures. They can be mischievous but are rarely intentionally harmful.

    • Humans drawn to Daemons often find themselves in thrilling, albeit unpredictable, situations.

  • Angels:

    • Angels view Daemons as impure creations and actively hunt them. This animosity is mutual, as Daemons see angels as overly rigid enforcers of an oppressive moral code.

  • Other Supernatural Beings:

    • Daemons often ally with other outcast or chaotic beings, finding camaraderie among those who reject strict definitions of good and evil.

Behavior and Nature:

  • Chaotic, Not Evil:

    • Daemons thrive on freedom and indulgence, often acting on whims and seeking pleasure, adventure, or novelty.

    • While their chaos can cause trouble, it is rarely driven by malice; Daemons prefer fun over destruction.

  • Desire for Experience:

    • They cherish their existence in the mortal world, knowing that it may be fleeting due to the constant threat posed by angels. This urgency drives them to experience life to its fullest.

  • Surprisingly Empathetic:

    • Daemons are not devoid of compassion; their chaotic nature often makes them more understanding of outsiders and those who don’t fit societal norms.

Cultural & Social Structure:

Individualistic Yet Loyal:

  • Daemons value their individuality but form tight bonds with those they trust, whether other Daemons or like-minded beings.

  • They often operate in small groups or alone, avoiding large gatherings that might attract angelic attention.

Revelry and Celebration:

  • They embrace festivals, parties, and any form of indulgence, using these moments to forge connections and escape the looming threat of destruction.

No Formal Leadership:

  • Daemons have no organized hierarchy. They revere their creators but are not beholden to their will.
