Origin & Creation

Modern angels are supernatural beings that emerged as manifestations of monotheistic faith, specifically designed to enforce the moral doctrines associated with "goodness" as defined by their creators’ beliefs. Their mission is to eradicate anything that does not align with these ideals, including other supernatural beings deemed "impure."

Angels are bound by strict guidelines that prohibit them from harming humans directly unless the human actively protects or allies with a non-human entity.

Characteristics

  • Appearance:

    • Angels typically have striking, ethereal features, embodying human ideals of divine beauty.

    • Wings: White or gold feathered wings, which radiate a faint glow.

    • Hair: Blonde, white or pink hair, symbolizing purity and holiness.

    • Aura: Their presence exudes a divine aura, overwhelming and often intimidating to non-humans.

  • Weapons and Armor:

    • Angels wield golden-colored weapons such as swords, spears, or bows, enchanted with their creator’s power. These weapons are highly effective against supernatural beings, particularly those considered "impure."

    • Their armor is typically light yet impenetrable, radiating divine light to intimidate and weaken opponents.

Abilities

Combat Mastery: Angels are highly skilled warriors, trained to swiftly eliminate non-human entities. Their weapons are infused with divine energy that can harm even the most resilient supernatural beings.

Light Manipulation: Angels can channel divine light, using it offensively to burn or weaken enemies, or defensively to shield themselves and their allies.

Flight: Their wings grant them exceptional mobility in battle, allowing them to traverse large distances quickly or outmaneuver opponents.

Divine Intuition: Angels possess a heightened sense of morality as defined by their divine code, allowing them to detect the presence of "impure" beings or objects.

Regenerative Healing: Injuries sustained by angels heal rapidly, making them difficult to defeat unless completely destroyed.

Behavior and Nature:

  • Strict Moral Code:

    • Angels operate under an uncompromising sense of "good," defined narrowly by monotheistic principles. Anything outside of this rigid framework, no matter how harmless, is deemed a threat to their divine order.

  • Non-Human Intolerance:

    • All beings not classified as human or angel are considered "impure creations" and targeted for eradication. This includes supernatural beings such as witches, fae, and vampires, even if they have no ill intent toward humanity.

  • Limited Human Harm:

    • Angels are forbidden from harming humans unless the human directly defends or protects an impure being. In such cases, they will attack the human with the intent to subdue or incapacitate, seeing it as a necessary step to fulfill their mission.

  • Single-Minded Purpose:

    • Angels rarely deviate from their assigned tasks, prioritizing their mission above all else, including personal relationships or emotions.

Cultural & Social Structure:

  • Hierarchy:

    • Angels follow a strict celestial hierarchy, with higher-ranking angels directing lower ranks. These leaders often carry the most powerful weapons and serve as enforcers of divine law.

  • Divine Orders:

    • Their directives come from the collective belief in monotheistic gods, which shapes their moral framework and sense of duty. Orders are absolute and unquestionable.

  • Lack of Individuality:

    • Angels prioritize their collective purpose over personal identity. While they possess names and personalities, individuality is often suppressed in favor of unity and obedience.
